The app was developed by InformAmuse for Vianet as part of the ENGAGE project, an initiative that integrates industrial and academic expertise, also involving the University of Palermo. MiraPalermo represents a concrete example of technology transfer applied to the enhancement of cultural heritage.
Application designed to offer a unique and personalized way to visit the city of Palermo. Through detailed textual content, location photographs, and interactive maps, users can explore the main points of interest, discover the city’s history and curiosities, and receive practical information to optimize their tour.
The app integrates Artificial Intelligence algorithms to generate personalized routes based on the user’s location, visiting preferences, and available time. In this way, each tourist receives smart suggestions for optimal itineraries, ensuring a tailored, efficient, and engaging experience.
